Creating Beautiful, Lasting Homes in Sydney
HCM Build is a Sydney-based residential building company led by Director Hayden McKee, with over 10 years of hands-on experience delivering high-quality craftsmanship and building lasting relationships based on trust, reliability, and genuine care.
Building or renovating your home is one of the biggest investments you’ll make. That’s why we take a personal, client-focused approach — working closely with you to understand your vision, your needs, and how you want to live.

Hayden McKee
Managing Director
I enjoy working on projects that go beyond surface-level design. Every client brings a different challenge, and that’s what motivates our team. We focus on creating homes that are functional, comfortable, and built for real life. At HCM Build, our goal is to deliver spaces that feel right today and continue to work well into the future.
“Our experienced team brings a passion for quality and a commitment to getting the details right. We focus on clear communication, skilled craftsmanship, and results that feel like home.”
Meet The Team
Hayden - Managing Director
Meet Hayden, the owner and builder here at HCM. Loves a chat, loves a coffee, sweet treat? Always! Word on the street is that he also happens to be pretty good at bringing plans to life and creating some pretty impressive spaces for his clients. This is the guy behind it all, working from the ground up to build what started as a little business and grew into something that creates amazing spaces for you to call home
H - Site foreman and lead carpenter
Having two Haydens in a small company gets kind of confusing, so you’ll hear us call him H! He’s our go-to man for all things daily site operations, the boss’s right-hand man. H is the glue that holds the team together and keeps things running smoothly. He is a no-frills kind of guy, he’s here to get a job done… and he does well. His attention to detail is second to none, and the pride he takes in his work means that your home is being built with the love it deserves.
Adam - Senior apprentice
The Persian Prince of HCM Build, aka our senior apprentice. He has mastered the art of multitasking and can officially talk and work at the same time. He holds rank as the highest person responsible for the site tunes and has an impeccable ability to test our patience. In all honesty, he adds great value to our team! He loves a chat, has a great sense of humour and is a great guy all round. He’s come so far since he joined our team and is going to make a top tradesman.

We transform existing homes to better fit your lifestyle. From opening up spaces and improving flow to updating finishes, we focus on seamless renovations that blend beautifully with your home and stand the test of time.
Bathroom Renovations
We create kitchens and bathrooms that work as beautifully as they look. By understanding how you use these spaces, we design and build with quality materials and practical touches that make daily life easier, comfortable, and lasting.
What Our Clients Say
“I can confidently and wholeheartedly recommend HCM Building, led by Hayden and his exceptional team. They recently completed a $280,000 renovation for me in just seven weeks, on time with outstanding communication throughout. Hayden’s attention to detail, sophisticated approach to finishes, and proactive project management were second to none. He navigated unexpected dramas with calm professionalism, offering practical, cost-effective solutions at every turn. This approach dramatically reduced my stress levels.
His guidance around materials and fixtures was thoughtful and budget-conscious, and his team conducted themselves with courtesy and respect, not just on-site but also with our surrounding neighbours — true gentlemen.I will be engaging Hayden and HCM again for future renovations and building works. A first-class experience from start to finish.”
